Our design department utilizes many high tech tools to better serve our customers. From computer aided drafting, lighting calculations and product selection, our computers are the workhorses of the design/build process. Our investment in these tools, and training for their use, result in accurate and efficient results for our clients.

Working with your architect and other design team members, it's a simple matter of obtaining the floorplan of your project in a computer file that we can manipulate with computer aided drafting software.

We use Sellect Design software to maximize the benefits of using AutoCad. As the plans for your project develop, the design team members are busy exchanging information and sharing new versions of their plans with each other.

Using Luxicon lighting design software we carefully select light fixture types and develop a layout to fit both the architectural details and the IES light level recommendation for each room's activity. AutoCad also comes in handy for the building's riser diagram and other details.

We then use Lutron's software to develop a lighting control system for the building. Microsoft Excel is used to calculate the size of the electrical service, feeders and sub panels and to print panel schedules. Light fixture submittals are printed from Lithonia Lighting and Cooper Lighting electronic catalogs.

The end result is a working set of drawings and supporting documents for the permit process and construction of your project.
